The way we work
As a boutique design company, we are dedicated to providing our clients with bespoke services that match their project, scope, and resources. Collaboration and communication are always key. Our network of talented interior, graphic and product designers, as well as illustrators, photographers, and UX & UI designers with many different specialties, allows us to assemble the best team for each project based on its needs. We keep our clients in mind at every step of the design process, working to devise the best and most sustainable solution in terms of aesthetics, function and durability, to ensure that what we create will last the test of time.

The founder
Michelle Kwok is the founder and design director of Plaap Design Limited. She is an architect, studied and graduated from McGill University with her Masters in Architecture, trained and licensed in Hong Kong for more than 10 years before she setup her own practice in 2014. Michelle’s passion in design and love of collaboration has led her to venture out of her comfort zone and into all aspects in relation to design, including architecture, interiors, furniture, signage and graphics, in the hope of injecting design into the everyday life and connecting people in all walks for life.
